Marlev – Free Palestine (2024)
I’ve got a message in this time,
“Free Palestine,” hear the truth in this lines.
This is more than a small call – justice is calling
for the lovely people whose situation is apalling
This is about respect and the right to exist,
for children to play, for their dreams to persist.
about a culture and its history, deeply rooted,
about a people whose future I see being looted.
In a blind offense, people do not know what they do
immune to warmth of heart, unbeknown what is true.
You have to be blind to the facts, deaf to the cries.
How can you defend a war that causes such demise?
“Free Palestine,” for the love that we perceive
in the hearts of the people who believe in peace
“Free Palestine,” for the children in this maze
their eyes are shining bright in spite of this dark days.
“Free Palestine,” for the hope we see within,
in the hearts of those who ask for peace to begin.
“Free Palestine,” for the love we share and feel,
in the crossing of our glances we see unity revealed.
Many trust TV reports and the news to be upright,
they do not realize they have chosen genocide.
The mainstream shows one sided news or some twisted lies
in a storm of headlines as if empathies denied.
For the right to thrive, for health and clearing light
For every soul in Gaza that is for an ending of the fight.
Brothers and Sisters, let us share love from our core,
for a dawn of peace, where this suffering is no more,
Palestinian hearts beat with confidence indeed
burn with heavenly heat – so freedom’s what we plead
Though their homes may crumble, their estates frail,
Their dignity’s untouched, soulful spirits will prevail.
“Free Palestine,” for the love we share and feel,
in the crossing of our glances unity’s revealed.
“Free Palestine,” for the children in this maze
their eyes are shining bright in spite of this dark days.
“Free Palestine,” for the hope we see within,
in the hearts of those who ask for peace to begin.
“Free Palestine,” for the hope that we perceive
in the hearts of the people who believe in peace
“Free Palestine,” for the children in this maze
their eyes are shining bright in spite of this dark days.
